One of the most exciting things in the Phillip Lim 3.1 for Target Collection is the animal print. So when I visited my local target this weekend and the Phillip Lim collection animal print dress was staring me in the face as I walked in, I had to try it! I planned to purchase this dress online, so you can imagine my excitement when I saw it hanging with the collection near the front door of the store. And they had my size! Lim for Target came out with a great animal print in a variety of items. The print is a great fall color mustard with a watercolor-like animal print of blue and nude. Odd color choice, but it works! I guess that’s why Phillip Lim is a designer, and I’m just a wearer because I would not have put these colors together on animal print…but it turned out great! The best part about this design is the rouching on the side. Rouching on dresses is great because it can hide flaws in the mid-area, ladies you know what I mean. Print hides flaws as well, so this dress is a two for one. Three for one if you add in cuteness. So yes yes to this dress all around.
I styled this look with Sam Edelman Shoes and a blue blazer from H&M, brown personality glasses, spike, gold, and pearl accessories, and a red lip…of course. I love red lips. 🙂
