My first trip of summer 2016 will be to Costa Rica! Costa Rica is a small country located in the southern portion of Central America identified in 2009 as the greenest country in the world. It houses 5% of the world’s biodiversity making it one of the richest ecosystems found anywhere. I’m looking forward to experiencing this natural habitat that houses hundreds of wildlife creatures, rain forests, dry forests, and waterfalls!
For my upcoming trip, I’ll be staying in a villa in Guanacaste provided by HomeAway. I thought this would be a great opportunity to share my top essentials for a warm beach vacation that I won’t leave home without!
Listed above are 5 essentials that I will certainly be bringing with me on my trip. I can’t live without music so I bring my little Jawbone wifi speaker with me every time I go on vacation. I also need a sunhat and I found a cute “Do Not Disturb” wide brim at Burlington Coat Factory. For those of you that may mistake this sunhat for a Eugenia Kim, nope. It’s not! It’s a replica but just as cute. I’m not to the point where I can spend $485 on a sunhat yet. 🙂 I’ve always worn sunscreen and a sunhat while at the beach, especially since I have Lupus and the sun is not very kind to me. Neutrogena is my favorite sunscreen and the spray makes the application life so much easier. Along with sunscreen, I need a sassy beach towel and a beach umbrella, again to hide me from the sun. Finally, a bright bikini is a must! Since I have a fuller bust finding bikini’s in my size was always a challenge until I discovered ASOS fuller bust section for bikini’s and bras. It’s made going to the beach a lot more fun and fashionable for me!
I’m looking forward to this trip for many reasons so I’m making sure to pack all of my essentials! Since I’ll be staying in the city of Guanacaste, located in the northwestern part of the country, I’ll be ready for a lot of adventures as this province houses beaches, rivers, waterfalls, volcanoes, and lots of wildlife, some of which can not be seen anywhere else in the world! Check in with me again as I’ll be blogging during my trip that begins at the end of this week and of course I’ll provide a re-cap upon my return.
