A Seasonal Staple: The Striped Jumpsuit

Jumpsuits are fun, until you have to pee. Let’s just be honest, it’s an adult onesie and I’m saying this from experience both as wearing one and dressing my son in a literal onesie every day. It’s all fun and games until you have to go! But they are a cute item for the summer as a jumpsuit is a whole outfit and mood in one piece. Then add stripes and you have a classic look from year to year.

This halter jumpsuit looks like a long dress but it’s not which is what I like about it. It’s also bright blue and white stripes with pockets, and we love anything with pockets don’t we ladies? Stripes also make you look and feel tall and the pattern is great with solid colored accessories. Jumpsuits are interchangeable with heels, sandals, sneakers, or wedges. Add a cute bag and sunhat and it’s a look!

I added my favorite summer sneakers for this year, the Nike Cortez, which is one of the first designs made by Nike in 1971. After 48 years we’re still rocking them. This shoe is a literal “what goes around comes back around!” Retro shoes are so in right now so it makes perfect sense.
